Edinburgh producer Brelstaff laces us with his trademark concoction of chilled, soulful, lofi hip hop vibes throughout the new album “Urban Testimony [The Instrumentals]”.

Further influences of progressive rock, jazz fusion and ambient electronica are fused together effortlessly in an ethereal soundtrack that focuses minds and soothes souls in equal measure.
Originally operating under his born name Daryl Donald, his reputation as one of the most respected emerging beatmakers in this genre was well earned with the release of “Solitude” (2017) followed by the 2019 albums “Behold the Spirit” and “Full Circle” which ultimately generated over a million streams on Spotify.

Since adopting the new pseudonym, he released the self titled album “Brelstaff” in 2020 and most recently in February 2023 the single “Cursive” with celebrated west coast rapper Fashawn. He teamed up with Brooklyn MC Justo the MC for the first time in 2021 with the release of the joint “Swagu” and has done so again this year, this album being the forerunner to the full vocal version the pair will release in the autumn again through New Dawn Records.
